Authorized use

Use the tool only for studio data and accounts you are authorized to manage. The Google connection must be approved by the account owner. Authorization does not activate the daily schedule by itself; the owner enables the workflow after setup and recovery checks.

Owner responsibilities

Keep OAuth credentials, repository secrets, the journal key and private recovery key secure. Preserve the private recovery key and its passphrase outside the runner. Review available storage and provider quotas, check backup results and periodically test restoration in an isolated environment.

Backups are one part of the studio’s recovery process. Provider outages, revoked access, quota limits or execution failures can prevent a new backup. A successful upload must be assessed together with recovery testing. Database snapshots do not include uploaded artwork/reference binaries.

Stopping use

An owner may disable the backup workflow and revoke its Google connection. Existing stored copies remain until removed by the owner. Before deleting files or keys, review whether they are needed for recovery. Data handling is described in the privacy policy.
